Professor Charles ffrench-Constant

Clinic Director and Professor of Multiple Sclerosis Research

Charles ffrench-Constant is Director of the MRC Centre for Regenerative Medicine and a consultant geneticist whose main research focus is multiple sclerosis. His lab studies oligodendrocyte biology and myelination and investigates the basic biology of embryonic and adult neural stem cells. His work aims at in vivo manipulation of cells and molecules to promote nervous system regeneration.
