Anna Williams has been promoted to Professor of Regenerative Neurology

Dr Anna Williams is an Honorary Consultant Neurologist who sees patients with multiple sclerosis (MS) in the Anne Rowling Clinic. At the University of Edinburgh, she is a Scottish Senior Research Fellow who leads a research programme in the labs of the Centre for Regenerative Medicine, which is also located at the Little France campus. She is also a key member of the Edinburgh Centre for MS Research, which is funded by the MS Society.

Professor Williams' research seeks to understand why remyelination fails in MS, and to improve its efficiency. Her prestigious appointment to the Chair of Regenerative Neurology is recognition of the excellence of her research and her valuable clinical input.
