10 October 2018
The Scopus Early Career Researcher Award aims to recognise early career researchers who hare having a real impact in their chosen field. Sarah was selected for this award by an expert panel of judges based on publication and citation information provided by Scopus Elsevier's abstract and citation database.
Sarah's particular interest is how excessive type I interferon (IFN) causes damage to cerebral blood vessels, in order to understand how blood vessels become damaged in autoimmune disease such as lupus. Her research aims to understand more about the effect of IFN on blood vessels in the brain.
