Community fundraising update – 2015 so far!

25 June 2015

Many thanks to those who have fundraised for the Anne Rowling Clinic so far this year!

Thanks to:

...Edinburgh University students Richard Wise and Alex Rogers, plus staff colleague Alexa Jury, who did a Firewalk, walking 20 feet across embers burning at approximately 650 degrees Celsius.

...Alan and Jeanette Smith, who donated to us after holding their Golden Wedding Anniversary party.

...Carol Donnelly, who took part in this year's "5 x 50" Challenge - covering 5K every day for 50 days.

...Joan Leslie, who made and sold fabric diary covers in aid of the Clinic.

...Graham Doyle, who generously donated funds raised in memorial of his wife Susan Doyle. His daughter and son-in-law raised £3.5K last year when they asked their wedding guests to donate to the Anne Rowling Clinic rather than give presents.

...John Laffey, who ran the Edinburgh Half Marathon for us and is planning two more this year! John has also put collection cans on display at his work to help spread the word and raise even more money.

...Joanna Barclay, who undertook the gruelling Tough Mudder for us, and Stephen Barclay who ran the Belfast Marathon.

A huge thank you to you all for your efforts. Every penny that you make in your fundraising goes directly to help our researchers.

If, in error, we haven’t acknowledged you, please email kerry.mackay@ed.ac.uk and we’ll be sure to include you in our next list.
